Goodbye Rad

Yesterday I went out to Mangaho with my parents to show them what I've been up to for the past four months. I had a couple really good runs; linked some cartwheels, and even stuck a couple loops. Good stuff. Then I sold my Rad to a kid from Wellington; he came up to demo the boat. I was a bit nervous, as he alluded to the fact that the course was a bit over his head. I think his prayers were answered though, since after my two runs he got into the boat and the water promptly was turned off. Anyway, my beloved boat now lives in Wellington.

Today Damo, Aaron, and I went out to the beach to surf for a bit. I was in a borrowed EZ, and the day was beautiful. When we arrived the surf was tiny, but once we got out we caught a few really good sets, head high or better (from a boat). It was a lot of fun, and a great way to spend an afternoon. The water was even warm. Amazing.
